Combat Changes

  • Increased Armor Penetration of Crossbows, adjusted other penetration values

Melee Combat Style rework

To switch combat styles, go to the Combat navigation tab (furthest left) and click on the buttons. Some weapons have only one style, most melee weapons have two that you can switch between.

Combat Styles:

  • Slash (chance to inflict Bleed)

    • Chance based on weapon tier, starting at 10% for low tier weapons and increasing up to 25%

    • Bleed does 2 stacks of quick damage on top

    • Bleed can stack up to 2 times

    • Moving while bleeding increases bleed damage by 50%

  • Crush (chance to Stun target)

    • Higher tier weapons deliver longer stuns (up to 2 seconds)

  • Pierce (ramping accuracy boost)

    • Pierce effect lasts 6 seconds

    • Each stack of the Pierce effect now provides an accuracy bonus for piercing attacks

    • The bonus scales with both the number of stacks and the tier of the weapon: 2% per stack per tier

    • If a new Pierce effect is applied by a different source, the existing stacks are reset, ensuring that only one attacker can build up Pierce stacks at a time

Other Changes

  • Certain equipment now correctly have weaknesses to specific Combat Styles

    • Plate Armor is resistant to Pierce, weak to Crush

    • Chain Armor is resistant to Crush, weak to Pierce

  • Added Stoneplate Armor (T1 / T2) - antimagic, increased tenacity (up to 75% reduction)

  • Fixed Javelin to correctly use Ranged accuracy bonus, while dealing damage based on Strength bonus

    • Javelin additionally does 1.5x damage against players using ranged weapons

  • Damage reduction (soak) is now only applied to the portion of damage above 100

    • Magic Damage no longer soaks

  • Shroom Warrior/Shaman/Ghost fixed, set to Tier 2

    • Shroom Peon is still Tier 1

  • Reduced freeze root for Frost spells

  • Tenacity - reduces or increases CC duration - now an equipment bonus

  • Fire Spells - burn damage increased

New Weapons / Items

  • NEW WEAPON! Hand Cannon

    • Slow, high hits, armor-piercing

    • Requires expensive Cannon Shot

    • Special Attack (currently disabled)

    • Requires lvl 75 ranged to equip

    • 600 range, +90 ranged accuracy bonus, +150 ranged strength bonus

  • NEW CONTRAPTION! Auto Ballista

    • Can set up Auto Ballista anywhere, automatically fires at NPCs in area if it has ammo

    • Load with T1/T2 Ballista Bolts to turn it on

      • Only targets NPCs

    • The Auto Ballista rotates and shoots projectiles as long as it has ammo

    • The Auto Ballista prioritizes T2 Ballista Bolts and switches to T1 when T2 is depleted

  • NEW AMMO! Dragonsteel Bolts - enchanted / non-enchanted

    • Deals extremely high damage

  • NEW SCROLLS! Buy from Shop, click to use

    • Teleport Tab: Capital - near-instant (600ms) teleport

    • Warp Scroll - while in inventory, CTRL-CLICK to instantly flash to a location within 5 tiles of you
