# Patch v0.3.0

Big patch this week! $RSGP Loot Drop, Dungeon Fishing, new Dungeon builds, and more.

## 🎣 NEW: Dungeon Fishing

<figure><img src="/files/z51b22aAV4dbrgukzGkY" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The subterranean pools in the Dungeons are open for business, managed by an enigmatic figure named Mirelle Kain. She offers a laid-back way to fish for treasure while you're not running floors.

Talk to Mirelle Kain at the pond: she sells the bait, tracks your progress, and pays for your catch - most importantly, she remembers all of her customers :) Buy **Mirelle's Grub** (3 Dungeon Keys per 100) and use it to catch four tiers of fish that you can cash in for Points.  Using Grub to catch fish also gives you a chance to catch <mark style="color:$danger;">**SACKS OF TREASURE**</mark> from the pools for massive loot. &#x20;

Every coin spent with Mirelle earns Mirelle's Favor. Favored customers get backdoor access - Cursed Attractors, which she swears draws more Sacks of Treasure to your hook ("Attraction"). Her most favored friends also say that they've never been luckier while in her good (daily) graces.

&#x20;Don't sit on your haul, though: fish rot in the dungeon damp, so cash in often.&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: If you played Dungeons Fishing yesterday - we migrated you to the new Mirelle's Favor system based on your Points, bait usage, and progression. We also issued Dungeon Key refunds broadly to players that were shortchanged yesterday at low Fishing levels (under posted rates) - check your mailbox if you were affected.
{% endhint %}

## Genesis Loot Drop

<figure><img src="/files/czKDBnONibItchDlWe62" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**$RSGP is coming in August.**&#x20;

To kick things off, the **Loot Drop** is now live on the Airdrop page:

* **Link every wallet you own** - Ethereum, Base, Blast, Abstract, and Solana — and we score your last year of onchain history & holdings. Your score is split into a **Degen Score** and a **Chad Score**, and together they decide how many **Loot Chests** you get (Common, Epic, and Legendary).
* **⚠️ You have until August 5 (15:00 UTC) to claim.** Once you claim, your chests are locked in and you can't re-run it - so link ALL your wallets first. Each wallet only counts for one account, first come first served.
* Chests **open in August when $RSGP launches**.&#x20;
* **Solana linking got a big upgrade**: it used to be Phantom-only, one wallet. Now you can link **multiple accounts from any major Solana wallet** - Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, MetaMask and more. All of them count toward your Loot Chest score.&#x20;
* Note: If you you are an existing Cambria player with points from participating in our early seasons, game modes, or beta access - you will be able to claim your full historical Airdrop in a few weeks when our Airdrop checker goes live! This is a separate airdrop.

## Uncut Gems Changes

<figure><img src="/files/zwiL20sptlntTgQouV47" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**What changed:** the *shape* of the payout now follows the **risk style you picked for the run** (Steady / Balanced / Degen): for Degen runs, instead of many small sacks, you get fewer, bigger Sacks. This means that even low stakes runs can turn into MASSIVE wins ([$3.50 to $1,360 yday](https://x.com/heyj_xx/status/2080075411241992487)).

**The important part: the average payout is identical in all three styles.** We ran millions of simulations to make sure of it. Degen doesn't pay less than before - it pays the *same total* in fewer, bigger hits.&#x20;

**We also added Open All**: you can now open up to **50 Sacks of Treasure at once** (tiers 1–3) with one click and get a single combined loot summary. Massive Sacks (top tier) still open one at a time.

## Dungeons

### New Builds

Three new Delver weapons join the arsenal:

* **Delver's Warhammer** - thrown melee that returns to you and staggers enemies, every 3rd throw ricochets. The closer you are to your target, the faster you can attack. Special: Grounding Slam - leap to an enemy and stun them.
* **Delver's Handcannon** - every 3rd hit detonates in a blast that grows with weapon tier. Special: Overcharged Shot - a massive crit attack.
* **Delver's Shortbow** - rapid venom shots that chain between enemies and spread poison. Special: Snap Shot (double shot). Synergizes well with Expunge, on-hit builds.

Crossbows now pierce in a line, doing damage to all npcs inside of that ray.

The ranged "Bounce" pick is reworked into **Signature Shot** - it empowers your specific weapon (crossbow pierces further, handcannon detonates wider, shortbow chains more). &#x20;

New ability: **Expunge** - instantly pops all poison/bleed/burn on nearby enemies for their full remaining damage.&#x20;

Changes from yesterday:

* Buffed Warhammer
* Buffed Shortbow

### Ballista Turret is BACK

Removed from the pick pool a few weeks ago, returning fully reworked:

* **Charges, not cooldowns**: bank up to 3 turret charges and drop turrets instantly - up to **3 turrets active at once**, with an on-screen charge indicator.
* Deploys in **0.5s** (was 3s) and **fires immediately** on landing.
* Each shot now deals **100% of your ranged damage** (was 75%).
* Now stacks to 3: more turret HP, faster recharge, bonus damage based on the target's current HP, and at max rank it **fires twice as fast**.
* We're continuing to monitor for balance

### Balance Tweaks

* Shortbow poison chains keep more strength per hop (0.65 → 0.75) and poison applies more often (35% → 50%)
* **Floors ramp up slightly harder** (per-floor enemy scaling up \~1%ish per floor, compounding). You'll feel it a little on deep floors.

### Quality of life

* **Ammo drops now match your weapon category**, not your exact weapon - swap to any bow, cannon, or crossbow mid-run and drops stay useful.
* **Staff runs only see matching affixes**: no more "Of Frost" drops on a Fire staff run.
* Special attacks now correctly refuse to fire with incompatible ammo&#x20;

## Islands

We've reintegrated Islands back into the main Points loop.

* **The Supply Drive now pays Points directly.** Archipelagos Credit is retired - when you cash in items, your Favor converts straight to Genesis Points on the spot (after island tax, boosted by your multipliers).&#x20;
* **Onboarding to Islets is easier**: Costs **50 Dungeon Keys** flat, and it now comes with a full **starter bundle** - bronze toolkit, fishing rod, 1,000 Island Worms, and 100,000 Arena Tokens.&#x20;
* Island crafting stations can queue **10x more work** (max 500).

## Performance & Stability

<figure><img src="/files/tb7TgAe6h3qx931wEBVY" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Lobby loads much faster** everything you see on the lobby now arrives in one request instead of a dozen, and it starts loading before your wallet even finishes connecting.
* **World-switching no longer leaks graphics memory.** Textures from the world you left are properly cleaned up, which fixes a whole class of WebGL crashes and freezes after hopping between the mainland, Dungeons, and Islands - plus follow-up fixes for objects and gear that briefly rendered invisible during the transition. Massive performance improvement.
* **Less combat stutter** - hit effects and lighting no longer generate garbage every frame, so heavy fights hitch less.
* **Trading Post** opens with a proper loading spinner and no longer errors for some players.
* Fixed players getting wrongly stuck at the invite-code screen during the launch rush.
* Fixed a false "Cambria is down" screen while Loot Drop claiming was closed.
* Fixed a login race that could cause errors right after joining a world.
* Fixed the invite-code box on signup silently ignoring the code you typed.

## Quests

New **Genesis Quests** on the Airdrop page - 3 at launch, more every week:

* **Do a Dungeon Run** (risk 10+ keys, any outcome counts) → **permanent 1.5x multiplier**
* **Catch an Icefin Carp** (go fish in the Dungeons!) → **1,000 Points**
* **Bet on Gizmo's Folly** (10+ keys) → **1,000 Points**
* **Invite a friend** → **500 Points**

Finishing a quest pops a "Quest Complete!" ingame - claim the reward on the Airdrop dashboard.

## New Bar Games

* Rock Paper Scissors and Flower Poker are both live! &#x20;
* To start, challenge another player by right clicking on them.

## Invites now Earn

You earn **15% of all Points your invites earn, plus 5% from everyone THEY invite** - automatically, , on top of their earnings (they lose nothing). The Invites tab now shows your **Network Earnings** live, plus a rank ladder (Recruit → Warlord) as your clan grows. &#x20;

We're adding an option to add a new code (for existing players) soon!

## Retired

* **Weekly Favor / Trinkets** → replaced by Genesis Points.
* **Archipelagos Credit** → replaced by direct Points at the Supply Drive.
* **Signet sales** - no longer purchasable (legacy signets still retain a small multiplier for Points)

## FAQ

* What about Glimmer?
  * Glimmer Leaderboards are still active for the Weekly Cashout draw to Top Glimmer earners weekly (for keys). More longterm Glimmer and Radiant Glimmer uses are planned. Glimmer is an engagement currency, not a directly convertible reward in any way.
* What plans are there with Arena Tokens now that Dungeon Keys are used for games?
  * Arena Tokens still remain the main trading currency, and are also used heavily in Islands. We're slowly migrating to a future AppToken system for spend token purposes, but Keys are the closest thing we have at the moment. We'll continue monitoring the Arena Token economy before pushing more updates to sinks and sources.
